David “Dave” McGeney

Vice President and General Manager

Dave brings a wide range of experience to his position with BCA.  He was a Director of Sales and Marketing for one of the area’s largest Residential Real Estate Construction and Development companies and later Vice President of a National Insurance Distribution company.   For the past two decades Dave has applied his considerable talents and experience to the copier industry.  Dave is credited for much of the success and steady growth at Business Copy Associates, Inc. in recent years.  Like Bill Horrigan, Dave too is very active in his community and has received many awards recognizing his many years of service to his community.


Verne Westgate

Service Manager

Verne has spent his entire adult life working with technology. He started as a computer technician both in the US Navy aboard nuclear submarines and then with a major Massachusetts computer company. After attending Boston University as a Business Administration major, he spent the next 25 years managing startup departments in local hi-tech companies before jumping to the print industry. There he worked in marketing management, sales, and service management. His years of experience dealing with the evolution of technology products have prepared him exceptionally well to manage the servicing of today’s multi-function office equipment. Verne takes great pride in providing that level of understanding and equipping his award-winning staff with the training and support required to deliver high quality service. He sincerely believes in our company motto, “It’s service after the sale that counts.”


William "Bill" Horrigan


Bill has spent his entire career in the copier industry.  Having demonstrated an immediate aptitude for the business, and while still in his twenties, Bill quickly rose to a position in corporate management with Konica in California.  Longing to return to his Boston roots, Bill took a Sales Manager position with a local copier dealer and, not long after that, acquired Business Copy Associates, Inc. where he’s been for the past 35 years.  Bill’s long-standing devotion to the community is evident. He serves with energy and enthusiasm as a Trustee of the Stoneham Theatre and is a member of their Cultivation & Development Committee.  In addition, Bill is an active participant in four local Chambers of Commerce as well as the Melrose Rotary.  Each year Bill and his company, BCA, help to raise tens-of-thousands of desperately needed dollars for numerous non-profit groups in the area.  Bill is a business partner with (and huge fan of) the Boston Red Sox. Bill and his wife Diane are both avid travelers and hope to do more of it one day when he retires.
